What control devices does MAME support?
MAME supports three basic classes of controllers:
- standard keyboards
- mouse-like controllers (this includes most trackballs and lightguns)
- any DirectInput-visible control that has digital buttons or analog axes (this includes most joysticks and steering wheels)
